WHAT IS VENUS VIVA MD?

Venus Viva MD™ the latest, newest generation, non-surgical solution for skin resurfacing that corrects signs of skin damage and improves the appearance of acne scars and other scars, stretch marks, enlarged pores, deep wrinkles, and uneven skin texture. During treatment, the micro-needle penetrates deep into the dermis to stimulate the development of newer, healthier skin.

VENUS VIVA MD™ APPLICATOR INFORMATION:

Uses unique NanoFractional RF™ technology with adjustable ablation and coagulation parameters, to deliver radio frequency energy into the skin, creating micro-channels surrounded by intact tissue.
Features SmartScan™ technology for uniform and safe energy delivery to all skin types.
Designed to resurface the skin, which helps reduce the appearance of acne scars and other scars, deep wrinkles, enlarged pores, and uneven skin texture for all skin types.
Two pin options: the 80 pin tip that can deliver up to 124 mJ/pin and the 160 pin tip which can deliver up to 62 mJ/pin.

The 160 pin tip is designed to treat a wide range of conditions and is proven to improve the appearance of textural irregularities, fine lines, dyschromia, enlarged pores, and striae. For more severe dermatological concerns such as acne scarring and deep wrinkles, the 80 pin tip is designed to deliver a greater amount of energy per pin, with a lower pin density per area, allowing for more advanced treatments.

The Venus Viva™ MD applicator is equipped with state-of-the-art patented tip technology that delivers up to 700 pulses, with energy penetration of up to 800 μm. The tips are designed for more coverage and therefore faster treatment times, and less downtime. They are better able to address more severe skin conditions, and are particularly effective in treating acne scarring.

Each of our devices is equipped with the most advanced technology to ensure patient safety and comfort. Our acne scar treatments use unique pin technology to make the process much more comfortable than lasers or chemical peels, and radio frequency treatments for wrinkle reduction can be so relaxing that many patients have actually fallen asleep.

TREATMENT INTERVALS:

We typically recommend 3-6 sessions, with a 4 week interval, depending on the severity of the skin.

WHO IS SUITABLE?

This treatment is suitable in helping people to reduce enlarged pores, acne scarring, textured skin and ice pick/box scars on the face and/or neck. This treatment can also help reduce active acne, however if you still have moderate – severe acne we would recommend reducing this first before starting this treatment. Our experienced therapists will adjust the energy delivered during the treatment to suit your condition and skin.
